In the age of globalization and terrorism, we face new challenges and problems. As the various paths of religions, political parties, and progressive movements have reached a deadlock, a new form of society must now emerge. The most sinister thing about this civilization is the three mighty organizations of states, armies, and capitalism. These three organizations are the best that the earth spirit has produced. We cannot marvel enough at the tremendous construction that has been accomplished in these areas with a fallen creation. But all this ends in death. How great is this mighty power! How unconditional their validity appears! Wealth & Inability Mammon is the rule of money over people. Because we ourselves are under the rule of this money spirit, we lack the strength to revolutionize against the rule of this spirit. Life’s dependence on external income and money is the essence of Mammon. Because we ourselves are totally dependent on the earnings of our outer existence, because our personal life is broken in our own Mormonism, therefore we have no way of pulling the lever and unhinging Mammon’s slave rule. And yet we can see that money is the real enemy of God.
