Soup Recipe Guide pdf Book
Here is a simple and popular Pakistani soup recipe:
- Chicken Corn Soup: -Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless chicken, diced
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups frozen corn kernels
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped, for garnish
-Instructions: 1. In a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. 2. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent about 3-5 minutes. 3. Add the diced chicken and cook until it is no longer pink about 5-7 minutes. 4. In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and 1/4 cup of the chicken broth until smooth. 5. Add the remaining chicken broth, the cornstarch mixture, corn kernels, and soy sauce to the saucepan. 6. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a boil. 7. Reduce the heat to low and let the soup simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the broth has thickened and the corn is cooked through. 8. Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste. 9. Serve the chicken corn soup hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
This soup can be easily customized by adding other vegetables, such as diced carrots or bell peppers, or by using different meats, such as beef or tofu, instead of chicken. Enjoy!
